HHA:

The Home Health Aide (HHA) consists 4 weeks (75 hours) of essential training for completion.
The class prepares students to give care in the home. It focuses on the role of the HHA in performing personal care in the home environment. It includes the health and social needs of the client, providing for infection control and safety, planning to meet nutritional needs, food shopping, preparation and storage, and home cleaning tasks.
Completion of the course provides the student will issue a Florida Home Health Aide Certification.

CPR/BLS – Basic Life Support: Schedules & Details
The BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR course teaches the skills of CPR for victims of all ages (including ventilation with a barrier device, and oxygen), use of an AED on adults and children, and relief of FBAO in responsive and non-responsive victims.

PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support: Schedules & Details

IV Therapy & Blood Withdrawal: Schedules & Details
Upon completion of this course the student, LVN, RN or other healthcare provider will have the knowledge, skills and ability to start and infuse intravenous fluids and withdraw blood. The course meets the requirements of the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians for Licensed Vocational Nurses to become certified in I.V. therapy and blood withdrawal.
